We all are reaching out
I know you’ve been inundated with businesses reaching out to you. Attempting to reassure you that everything is going to be fine. While it’s true that many of us are indeed trying to work through this potential disaster financially, we really do care about you as well.
As a mom, as a fellow human being: It’s troubling to see so many people distressed. As compassionate humans we want to reach out and encourage; build-up; and strengthen each other during times like this. It’s in our nature.
As business owners, we are limited in how we can express our shared concerns. We do have, in my opinion, one of the best ways to assure you that we care about you though. The advantage of being able to do something for people, while also securing the future of our industries. Showing that we share the exact same concerns as you by adjusting policies; prices; or employee hours and pay to fit the need, for example.
Time of Stress
In challenging circumstances, like the global awareness and concern over the novel Corona Virus, it can be difficult to see past the moment. At the same time, we find ourselves trying to escape the onslaught of information and looking at the future anyway. Will we go on vacation this summer? Will we be able to?…Questions like that bring about feelings of having no control and of frustration.
It is our hope that being responsive and transparent during this time will help facilitate open dialogue and realistic travel planning. Giving you control of your planning and hopefully easing some of that frustration.
Please know that you are important to Action Rentals and our family. We seek to welcome each guest as family. When we say, ‘thanks for Playing,’ for example, it’s not because that’s our ‘tag line’. This is what we say to our family and friends when we have had play dates. It’s important that your friends and family know they are appreciated.
When we play together- we are at our most vulnerable. For instance acting silly; and laughing over those silly antics; we cry over skinned knees; basically, people see each other without the mask. Knowing this means it matters that you honored us with your presence and your business.
So, what’s up…
To minimize damages that times like this can cause, both financially and emotionally, we hope to reach out and support one another. So we’ve implemented some key features to our booking that we hope assure you we are in this with you. For example: full refunds and trip insurance. We’ve also adjusted some of our discounts for locals and for families. Hoping to make it easier for staycationers to be able to provide fun, unique, things to do right here at home.
These ideas sound good on paper but we like knowing these implementations are meaningful and help you to trust we are here for you.
